Manama, Bahrain – 12th November 2025: Diyar Al Muharraq, Bahrain’s largest real estate development company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WCT Bahrain, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s WCT Holdings Berhad. The signing ceremony took place on Friday, 7th November, at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, in the presence of Mr. Abdulhakeem Yaqoob Alkhayyat, Chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq, Eng. Ahmed Al Ammadi, Chief Executive Officer of Diyar Al Muharraq, Dato Avinderjit Singh, Chairman of Summit Ventures and Ir. Dr. Tony Chan Tuck Leong, Chief Executive Officer of WCT International and Executive Director at WCT Bahrain.
The agreement sets the stage for both parties to explore areas of collaboration across private residential and commercial developments within Diyar Al Muharraq. In addition to identifying opportunities that contribute to public housing projects. The MoU supports Bahrain’s broader national objectives to advance urban sustainability and expand access to affordable housing, which will help drive long-term economic growth.
Commenting on the signing, Mr. Abdulhakeem Yaqoob Alkhayyat, Chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq, stated, “This agreement reflects Diyar Al Muharraq’s continued commitment to forging partnerships with prominent regional and international entities to advance sustainable urban and economic development.
